Soouvenir across Nepal: where we deliver photobooks next
Soouvenir starts in Kathmandu Valley and is growing across Nepal. How we are expanding photobook delivery, and how to get it to your city first.

Soouvenir is a Nepali photobook and photo magazine service. We are starting in Kathmandu Valley, and our plan is to bring printed photobooks to families across the whole of Nepal. This post explains why we started where we did, how we are growing, and how you can help bring Soouvenir to your city sooner.
Where does Soouvenir deliver today?
Soouvenir is starting in Kathmandu Valley, covering Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. That is where we print, check and hand over every book, so it is where we can promise the quality and delivery time we want. You can read how that works in photobook delivery in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.
Why start in Kathmandu Valley?
We started in the Valley so we could get every detail right before growing. Every Soouvenir book is printed on good paper, bound, and checked page by page by a real person. Starting close to home lets us see every book, hear from every customer, and fix anything quickly. It also means we can deliver in a few days rather than weeks.
Will Soouvenir deliver to Pokhara, Chitwan and other cities?
Yes, that is the plan. After Kathmandu Valley, we want to reach the rest of Nepal, including cities such as Pokhara, Bharatpur in Chitwan, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Biratnagar, Dharan, Itahari, Birgunj, Hetauda, Janakpur, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi. We haven't set an order or dates for these yet. We will open new areas when we can deliver there with the same care, and we will tell the waitlist first.
How do you decide which city is next?
The waitlist helps decide. When you join the waitlist, you tell us where you live. Cities where many people are waiting tell us where to go next. If you want Soouvenir in Pokhara, Butwal or Biratnagar, the best thing you can do is sign up and share it with friends and family there.
Can I use Soouvenir if I live outside Kathmandu Valley?
Yes. You can make your book online from anywhere in Nepal or abroad, because Soouvenir works in any browser. Until we deliver to your city, you can have your book sent to family or friends in Kathmandu Valley. That works well for gifts: make a book of your trek in Pokhara and send it to your parents in Kathmandu.
Can Nepalis abroad use Soouvenir?
Yes. Many Nepali families are spread across Australia, the US, the UK, Japan, Korea and the Gulf. Anyone with a browser can make a book with Soouvenir and have it delivered to family in Kathmandu Valley today, and to more of Nepal as we grow. It's one of the most personal ways to share a wedding, a newborn or a graduation with people back home.
Why does local photobook printing matter for Nepal?
Printing in Nepal means no international shipping and no customs duty, and books arrive in days rather than weeks. It also means the people making your book understand what it is for, whether that's a pasni, a bratabandha, a Teej celebration, Dashain at your grandparents' house or Bhai Tika with your sisters. We design layouts and pick paper with Nepali families' photos in mind.
How can I hear when Soouvenir reaches my city?
Join the Soouvenir waitlist. We will email you when delivery opens in your area, share prices before we open, and let you in as soon as it's your turn. You can also follow along on Instagram and TikTok.
